Mission Statement

• Our mission is to deliver amazing in-school activities which excite students and teachers about the curriculum.

   

  Since the beginning, our focus has been Social Studies, from a uniquely Canadian perspective.  Classroom Expeditions was started in 1998 with the Arctic Exploration, bringing Inuit culture south. The rest of the events have followed, with the most recent being the High School Government Initiative in 2015.  We are excited to update our activities to suit the new Draft Curriculum!  Aboriginal education has become an even bigger part of our events. We believe that it is an appropriate avenue for advancing the goals of all educators and students.  We look forward to sharing some of the richness of our local First Nations communities in a Classroom Expeditions way!
